Our mission is to help people
to get seen, and get hired.

About us

The Founders of UniqU are a global team – from the USA to Australia, with Switzerland as our central time zone. Our backgrounds vary greatly. From medical to data architecture, coaching to venture building.

What we all have in common is building software services – our common background is in building health data platforms (so we understand the importance of keeping your data secure and private and we take that very seriously.)

We also really like helping people, with real problems, and offering them super smart, intuitive and easy to use solutions. As you most likely know from your personal experience, navigating finding a new job is complex, it’s tough and we think you could do with some support.

That’s why we created UniqU.

Rob is a serial entrepreneur and technology innovation expert with 25+ years building companies at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and AI.
 
He co-founded and led several SaaS companies, served as CEO of international health management consultancies, and drove the strategy for a CHF 6B+ Swiss retail group. He advised Fortune 500 companies including Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, and Daimler.

 
Rob is currently focused on AI strategy and human empowerment through ThinkingBeyond.AI and holds a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) in Public Healthcare Management.

I believe that no tool has only negatives or positives; just as AI has led to dramtic shifts in the job market and led to countless people losing their job and being replaced by “machines”, it can also serve as a tool that can help people not only find a job, but find a position that truly serves their interests, motivations and purpose. 
 
Having worked at the intersection of software and humans for many years, I believe that with UniqU I can bring my experience to build a product that helps both employees and employers to find the perfect match."

With more than 25 years of experience in the data industry, John has built his career designing and managing complex data systems at scale.
 
His work spans the full data lifecycle - from architecture and data engineering to analytics platforms and AI-enabled systems.
 
He focusses on building robust, enterprise-grade data infrastructures that ensure information is structured, secure, and used responsibly.
 
Throughout his career, he has helped organizations turn complex data into reliable, actionable insights while maintaining the highest standards of data protection and integrity.
 
In short, his job is to make sure data is not only powerful and useful - but also safe, well-managed, and trustworthy.

At the same time, I recognized that experienced professionals face their own challenges in positioning decades of experience in a modern hiring landscape that often favors automation and rapid screening.
 
Uniqu was created to bridge that gap - to help early-career professionals present themselves effectively and to empower experienced professionals to translate their deep expertise into compelling, modern career narratives.

Although Adrian is a trained medical doctor, he pivoted to tech early in his career. One would describe him as an "avowed tech geek".

He is a serial entrepreneur and investor - having created or funded dozens of companies across Australia, USA and Southeast Asia (primarily Thailand and Indonesia).
